Federal Sales Director: Enterprise Security Products
Netronome is seeking a proven IT security sales professional in the Washington,DC Metro to accelerate our growth and firmly establish Netronome SSL Inspection solutions. The territory includes the eastern states with a majority of the time in the Washington DC beltway area. Preferred location will be greater Washington DC and/or surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a Regional Sales Plan to meet defined business goals of revenue generation and expansion of the customer base in the assigned territory.
• Work seamlessly with OEM and Channel Partners to drive sales into the end customers positioning the Netronome SSL Inspection Solution as a strategic part of their security infrastructure by demonstrating a strong understanding of the business issues and technical requirements that will drive a sale to closure.
• Create and develop strong relationships at all levels within target customer and channel partner organizations from IT staff to C-level executives
• Continuously assess the performance and potential of existing channel and OEM partners and optimize overall regional performance through training, support and recruitment of new partners
• Maximize region’s potential by maintaining accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the assigned territory, using Salesforce.com.
• Provide timely and accurate feedback to marketing and product management on market trends, competition and product requirements.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 8 years sales and experience with security products or networking technology and a proven track record of sales success in direct sales and channel environment
• Tenacity and personal motivation to build a territory from the ground up and rapidly deliver results - startup company experience a plus
• Strong combination of business acumen and technical knowledge
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to clearly articulate value proposition and key differentiators
• Quick learner – ability to rapidly develop a deep understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business or technical discipline
